The mission on Alibris is to connect book lovers and collectors from around the world though the convenience of the internet. Started in 1998, the website is an independently owned and operated business that provides buyers with the best of unbeatable prices, and assists independent sellers in the thousands. Alibris has a wide selection of books, movies, music, and textbooks, but specializes in rare and collectable items—or, at least, this is what sets them apart from other sites. So if you are looking for a rare item, I would suggest stopping by Alibris immediately, and they will make that seemingly difficult search for that hard-to-find item as easy as can be.
First things first, Alibris is a breeze to navigate. With the search navigation right at the top, all you have to do is enter what you are looking for and specify what category it falls under. In no time at all, you will be provided with a list of sellers who are selling the item. The prices will be listed, and you can even narrow your search to only the best bargain prices. Keep in mind while searching that, as the site consists of independent sellers, the shipping rates will be different for each seller.
