If Haverty’s Furniture has one thing all the other furniture stores don’t, it’s experience. Established in 1885, Haverty’s has been around for more than 100 years, offering high-quality furniture at affordable prices. They have over 120 stores in 17 states in the US.
As most furniture sites, Haverty’s allows an interested buyer to browse their products by selecting one of two drop-down menus on the site – search By Room or by Item. Haverty’s offers bedroom , living room, home office, dining room, and home media furitnure, as well as rugs, lights, chairs, and mattresses. The categories are further broken down into more specific types of items offered. (For example, if you select Chairs, you get a new menu that allows you to choose from barstools, reclining chairs, dining chairs, or settees.)
The variety of search options continue, as when clicking on one particular item, it also has several new options to choose from – you can search an item by price, finish, color, or material. Also, each option provides an inventory of specific products available under that specificity.
To help plan your room, Haverty’s has a room planner where you can enter in the specific dimensions of your room and the Haverty’s furniture you’d like to buy – to see if it fits (physically AND asthetically!) Free design advice and style tips are also readily available on the site. There’s even a furniture glossary on the site, for the design newbie.
There’s also a Special section, where Haverty’s displays its items that are on clearance. The list of available products also has specific inventories. For example, currently there are 3 armoires on sale that are available.
Overall, Haverty’s seems a reasonably priced company that offers quality furniture from an uncomplicated website. If you’re very interested in purchasing furniture online, this site is definitely recommended.
