Nordstrom.com offers quality products, designer names and up to date fashions for the entire family. Whether you’re shopping for home goods or new shoes, you’ll be happy to browse for them on Nordstrom.com. The site is very easy to browse, and the pictures are detailed and crisp.
One of our favorite qualities of Nordstrom.com is their commitment to customer satisfaction. Many sites offer reasonable return policies, but still hold some limitations in place. Not Nordstrom. Nordstrom believes in treating all of their customers (even online customers!) with respect and gratitude, which is why their return policy is so flexible. There is no limit on the amount of time a shopper has to return an item to Nordstrom (as long as they have a receipt!). Items can be returned to a Nordstrom store in person (for free), or mailed back to Nordstrom headquarters with the included pre-paid return label.
Another amazing customer service feature that we found on Nordstrom.com was their price-match guarantee. Although Nordstrom does carry some very expensive designer clothing and accessories, they do not inflate the prices. They are so committed to offering their users a standard retail price that they offer a phone number for shoppers to call in the event of a competitively priced item. They write “You’ll never pay more. At Nordstrom, we are committed to offering you the best possible prices. If you ever find one of our items priced lower somewhere else, please call [us] and we will gladly meet that price.” A common misconception about Nordstrom is that they are very pricey, but in actuality – they just stock expensive items. Everything is sold at retail value. Nothing is more expensive than it should be.
So after taking into account Nordstrom’s superior merchandise and outstanding customer service, we have decided to include them in our list of department stores that you should be shopping at. Their website offers plenty of online exclusives and access to hundreds of designers and name brands. Nordstrom is an excellent department store for every member of the family – whether you’re shopping for clothes, shoes, accessories, home goods, jewelry or anything else.
